The safaris are not done in parks or at your home or studio. They are done in local spots, side streets, and railroad tracks…..always different & FUN!!!...and always safe!

The safaris will take 2-3 hours so please schedule your session with that in mind.

There is no session fee but I do require a $300 session retainer fee at the time of booking to hold your reservation. This $300 in non-refundable & non-transferable and will be applied FULLY to your order.

Your session will last up to an hour for most of our sessions. There is always time allowed for feeding, changing, soothing or snacks for the little ones. Each additional person is $25 extra.

Details

Maternity - Shannon wants you to dress comfortably.
Some clothing suggestions are: Lose shirt, opened button shirt, netting or
scarf around certain areas as well as even tasteful nudity.

Newborn - The first few weeks of your babies lives are the most important when preserving memories. Shannon likes to focus on capturing those tiny little parts, peach fuzz, and wrinkles, since babies grow so fast. Shannon recommends leaving your newborn naked to capture the new life.

Children - Clothing for children sessions should stay simple. Please try and stay away from logos and wild designs. Shannon photographs on very simple backgrounds like black, white, etc. to keep the focus on your child.

Family - Shannon is a Non-Traditional artist and photographer and likes to capture moments of family interaction like playing or singing to your child. Shannon does posed family portraits as well and recommends keeping it simple. Keep in mind you want a family portrait that will look good hanging on your wall all year long. Some of the most popular is blue jeans, black or white shirts, no shoes on a black background.

Fairy/ Fishing - Very popular sessions that let your child’s imagination come to life!
Your little fairy is dressed up in custom made costume and placed in a fairy forest for her to explore with a mushroom, pond and dragon flies. Your little fisher boy will be in overalls fishing in the forest in a mystical pond or even fishing off a Stone Bridge with the water flowing under his toes. Shannon has the fairy costumes but you are more than welcome to bring your own. The overalls I do ask the parents to bring since little boys grow at different rates. You will LOVE the vibrant colors and artwork that Shannon puts in to each portrait!

Prints

Portrait Prints Start at $30 each. 5x7 and larger come mounted for preservation.
