Portrait Artist and Photographer, Shannon
Burns understands about the importance of capturing
those special moments, of preserving the memories
to have for years to come, to pass down from generation
to generation.
Shannon understands this because she is not only
a photographer, but a mother of a beautiful daughter
and a handsome little man. Shannon is also married
to her loving and supportive best-friend, Chad, of
7 years.
It is so important to preserve those memories because
you will never have those days again. After being
a part of unfortunate events in children’s lives,
Shannon decided to turn unfortunate events into memories
worth remembering. After 2 ½ years serving
as a Patrol Officer with the Wichita Police Department
Shannon put down her badge and gun and picked up a
camera and have been putting astonishing images on
the walls of families across Kansas.
Shannon also donates her time and talent to help
organizations like, Klicks For Kids, for the Kansas
Children’s Service League, Hat’s N’
Mittens, M.A.D.D., Cystic Fibrosis and the American
Cancer Society.
Shannon’s style is Non-Traditional and likes
to stay away from a lot of props so she can put the
focus on your child. Shannon likes to use very simple
backgrounds. Another style that Shannon uses is the
Fairy or Fishing themed pictures where you can let
your child’s imagination grow!
